Running for REAL LIFE

A 10K race can be quite daunting. Training hard, getting out there on race day, persevering when you’re tired, just putting one foot in front of the other, and finally crossing the finish line is an impressive feat. Much like recovery, it isn’t easy, but it’s worth it!

They joined staff and volunteers in training for the race through winter and spring, working hard to improve their fitness level. Many found they enjoyed running as a positive outlet. As one Lifer said after crossing the finish line, “This was life-changing for me today!”
