Meet Ophelia More Than Coffee. A Pathway to Opportunity. Ophelia (oh-FEE-lee-uh) Greek origin: “Helper” or “One Who Brings Aid”
At REAL LIFE, we believe everyone deserves a second chance, and every second chance deserves a pathway. That’s why we named our coffee truck Ophelia. Rooted in the meaning of helping others, Ophelia represents what REAL LIFE is all about: building belonging, creating opportunities, and helping people find their way forward. Ophelia is more than a coffee truck. She is part of REAL LIFE Industries (RLI), our workforce development initiative designed to create pathways to meaningful employment for individuals facing significant barriers, including those impacted by incarceration, substance use, and violence. Through Ophelia, RLI members will gain hands-on experience in customer service, food service, business operations, and teamwork while building the skills and confidence needed for long-term employment. Every cup served is more than coffee. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future. Thank you for supporting Ophelia, REAL LIFE Industries, and the people behind every cup.
