International Overdose Awareness Day 2023

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day, which is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdoses. At REAL LIFE, we are pausing today to remember without stigma all who have died from overdose, particularly our family and friends, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.

With the theme of “recognizing those people who go unseen” for the campaign this year, we also acknowledge and support those who are currently fighting the battle against substance use disorder. If you or someone you love needs help, please ask – there are resources out there, including REAL LIFE.
