St. James Doers Refresh REAL House Garden

Recently, the team cleaned out and refreshed two raised garden beds and planters. They planted peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, watermelons, squash, and a variety of herbs, and made sure everything got a good drink of water!

Yvonne, who helped organize the group, shared: “We loved working together with a great group of kids and adults to create something that will provide fresh, healthy meals for the folks living there.”

Thanks to their care and compassion, our Lifers will enjoy the fruits (and veggies!) of their labor all summer long.
