Meet Us Monday: Ashley, Bookkeeper and Program Administrator

Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Creative Writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her professional background includes experience in education as a preschool teacher and school director, where she developed curriculum and led teacher training.

After the birth of her first child, Ashley and her family relocated to Roanoke, VA, where she worked remotely as a social media manager, creating content for small businesses.

Since joining REAL LIFE, she ensures the organization’s financial records are accurate and well-organized. She also contributes to the success of REAL LIFE’s programs, including assisting with the violence intervention program and supporting special projects and initiatives as needed.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her children and husband, taking walks with her dog, and spending time outdoors. A passionate reader, Ashley is always working through her ever-growing “To Read” list. We are so excited to have you on our team, Ashley! Join us in welcoming Ashley!
