Recently, Josh, our REAL LIFE Community Resilience Program Coordinator, had the honor of presenting at the Hopewell Citizens’ Academy hosted by the Hopewell Police Department! This program gives residents a behind-the-scenes look at how city departments operate—and we were grateful for the chance to share the mission and impact of REAL LIFE.
Josh spoke about how REAL LIFE supports individuals impacted by Substance Use Disorder, homelessness, incarceration, and community violence, and highlighted the many ways our organization walks alongside people on their journey to stability and hope.
We also shared exciting volunteer opportunities with REAL LIFE — and Jackie, one of our amazing volunteers, joined us to give a heartfelt testimony about her experience serving with REAL LIFE.
We’re grateful for spaces like this that strengthen the bond between community members and city services. Hopewell, thank you for having us!
