Loretta, one of REAL LIFE’s Board Members, brings both professional expertise and personal passion to the team. A Certified Community Health Worker in the Bon Secours Health System’s Violence Response Team, she works at their Southside Medical Center in Petersburg. Loretta first connected with REAL LIFE through her son’s participation in the program when it was offered in jails.

After volunteering with REAL LIFE and becoming more involved, Loretta gained a deeper understanding of Substance Use Disorder and the challenges faced by those in recovery. Motivated by her own life experiences and a renewed sense of purpose, Loretta is committed to helping others find hope, healing, and a path forward. In her free time, she enjoys making natural skincare products.
