Project SAF Life Coach

As a Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free) Life Coach, Demetrius works with individuals at risk of gun violence, helping them access resources and support to build safer, healthier lives. His path to this role has been shaped by personal experience—before coming to REAL LIFE, Demetrius faced years of substance use and incarceration.

Demetrius joined REAL LIFE in 2024 as a Lifer, quickly stepped into leadership as a Peer House Leader, guiding others on their recovery journey. Demetrius is proud to have restored strong relationships with his four adult children, including one who serves in the U.S. Air Force. These days, he enjoys a simpler life—spending time with family and friends and catching a good movie when he can.
