Christine Owens

Administrative Coordinator

Christine Owens is the Administrative Coordinator for REAL LIFE. She supports senior staff with scheduling, documenting, organizing information, and any other necessary tasks to keep the organization running efficiently. Christine has lived in the Greater Richmond area for most of her life. She went to Longwood University and graduated with a degree in English Education. She taught middle school English for over 10 years in Chesterfield County before staying home to care for her young children. After discovering that one of her children is on the Autism spectrum, she threw herself into the development and education of her son, learning as much as possible about the world of neurodiversity.

Christine enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and loved poodle.  She loves reading, whether book or audio form. Christine is also an active volunteer at her church with elementary and middle school students, where she can be found teaching, mentoring, and serving them. She is passionate about the mission of REAL LIFE and is grateful to be on the team.
