Allen Bowman serves as the Treasurer for REAL LIFE, where he provides financial oversight and strategic guidance to support the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability. He is also the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Federal Reserve System’s IT organization, where he oversees financial planning and management for the technology systems that support the mission of the Federal Reserve.

Throughout his career, Allen has held leadership roles within the Federal Reserve, including finance, vendor management and strategy for the U.S. Treasury, director of the Federal Reserve Program Assurance Function, and program executive for the Federal Reserve cloud transformation program.

Allen is a graduate of Virginia Tech and lives in Midlothian with his wife, Katie, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and sports, and the family attends Third Church.
