Meet Us Monday: Karen, Peer Recovery Navigator

             Meet Karen! She is currently serving as a Peer Recovery Specialist/Navigator at REAL LIFE through Recovery Corps. She grew up in Richmond, Virginia and has a strong desire to help others. Karen completed a 9 month intensive inpatient program and currently has two years of sobriety. She also completed her PRS (Peer Recovery Specialist) certification and is excited to help others while expanding her knowledge in the field of addiction.

           She is happy to have meaningful employment and to be a part of her loved ones’ lives again. Karen enjoys knowing that she is doing exactly what she wants, which is empowering others to live a good life with health and wellness at the center.
