Meet Us Monday: Jeremy Rousey, Recovery Navigator

Meet Jeremy Rousey, a Recovery Navigator at REAL LIFE through Recovery Corps. He is originally from Caroline County but moved to North Chesterfield at the age of 11- years-old. Graduating from Meadowbrook High School at the age of 17, he also received a certification from Chesterfield Technical Center in Landscaping & Turf Management. Due to his addiction and other obstacles in life, he changed job fields. After finishing a residential treatment program, he later began working there as a peer mentor. Through his long journey and ongoing time in recovery, he attended VCU to become a Registered Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, enabling him to help men and women on a day-to-day basis who struggle with addiction. When he’s not hard at work, Jeremy loves being outside, running, riding ATV’s, and reading autobiographies.
