Savanna Pitts Project SAF Life Coach As a Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free) Life Coach, Savanna supports individuals at risk of gun violence by connecting them with resources focused on reducing community violence. Before joining the REAL LIFE team, Savanna faced significant challenges, including Substance Use Disorder, homelessness, and incarceration. Determined to change her path, she was introduced to REAL LIFE through the WAITT (We Are In This Together) program while incarcerated at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail and committed to rebuilding her life after release. Savanna successfully graduated from REAL LIFE and now serves as a Project SAF Life Coach. She is passionate about her role because it allows her to give back, support others through lived experience, and make a meaningful impact in the community. In her free time, Savanna enjoys movies, spending time with loved ones, and exploring her spirituality.
