Melissa Chase

Melissa is a member of the REAL LIFE Board of Directors and a media professional whose career has centered on storytelling and community connection. A Kent State University graduate, she began her career in radio while still in college after an internship at Q94 led to an on-air role. Over time, she moved into leadership, serving as Program Director, Operations Manager, and later Vice President of Market for radio in Houston.

After returning to Richmond, Melissa transitioned into television, where she now hosts a local lifestyle show focused on highlighting nonprofits, small businesses, and positive stories across the community.

Melissa was drawn to REAL LIFE’s focus on second chances and its commitment to creating opportunities for growth and change. She has supported REAL LIFE for many years through media partnerships, community events, the annual coat drive, and as host of the REAL LIFE golf tournament.

She lives in Richmond with her husband, Tyler, and has two daughters, London and Ruby. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, camping, music festivals, and creating small resin charms from four-leaf clovers.
