REAL LIFE Represents at the GIFFORDS Violence Intervention Conference

REAL LIFE Founder recently visited Los Angeles for the GIFFORDS Center for Violence Intervention Conference, where experts from across the U.S. have come together to tackle community violence head-on.

Sarah shared: “This sold-out conference brought together over 1,000 attendees, including experts and think tanks from across the country — with a strong East Coast presence, too! Learning from those who’ve been doing this work for years has provided invaluable insights and tools we can use to strengthen our programming and deepen our impact.”

Sarah made REAL LIFE proud by leading a session called, “Breaking the Cycle: Violence Intervention, Trauma and the Brain” where she shared about REAL LIFE’s Project SAF (Safe, Alive and Free) and how our Life Coaches intervene to make a difference.

From Richmond to L.A., the message is clear: community matters, healing is possible, and together we’re creating safer futures.
