Choosing Life: Marvin’s Powerful Message to Youth on Gun Violence

Marvin, REAL LIFE Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free) Life Coach, recently visited the Chesterfield Juvenile Detention Center alongside Commonwealth Attorney Erin Barr and ACA Alison Farley to speak with youth about the real-life consequences of gun violence.

“I spoke on how I started carrying guns at a young age, and those guns became the gateway that led me to prison for 37 years,” Marvin shared. “Carrying guns led me down the wrong path. Put down the guns and choose life.”
