Family Sunday: Jasmine

We’re excited to launch #FamilySunday – a new weekly series sharing stories of Lifers reuniting with their families. Active addiction often strains relationships, especially when loved ones have faced broken trust and repeated disappointments. We work with our Lifers to help them rebuild not only their life and career but also their connection with their families and children.

One of our REAL LIFE graduates and current staff member, Jasmine, has been working hard for years to build a relationship with her children. This past summer, she visited her oldest daughter, who lives with her paternal grandmother in Texas. The visit went so well that the grandmother invited her to return! Jasmine’s daughter is also coming to visit with her this summer, and Jasmine is thrilled!

Jasmine also remains connected to her two sons, who are thriving with their adoptive parents. She stays in touch through regular calls, photos, and videos and was even welcomed into their home to meet the extended family. The highlight of this past summer was a family reunion where Jasmine’s daughter was able to meet her younger brothers for the first time, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

We are so proud of Jasmine and her continued success in life, work, and especially family connections.
