For many of our Lifers, our annual Christmas party is their first experience attending a sober celebration. Jennifer, one of our Lifers, shared, “I had a great time. It was my first clean and sober party in SO many years.” The night was truly magical, offering a unique opportunity for Lifers and REAL LIFE staff to celebrate together.
“The party was so thoughtful,” Jennifer continued. “With the food, the music, the dessert bar, and karaoke. It was amazing to look around the room and see everyone so happy, cracking jokes, and taking pictures. I’ve never experienced anything like that.”
REAL LIFE staff served delicious Chipotle burritos and bowls, along with a dessert bar full of cupcakes and other treats. The karaoke competition was a highlight, featuring surprises like American Idol-worthy performances, a group number attended by Program Director Sarah, and a rap solo from Senior Pathway Navigator Young. It was an unforgettable evening of joy, connection, and celebration.
