Jasmine, a REAL LIFE graduate and current RECCAP Database Assistant and Recovery Navigator, found the experience especially valuable because it deepened her understanding of the recovery community. “I really appreciated the peer-led sessions because they spoke a language I could relate to,” she shared. “I also learned about the importance of setting healthy boundaries and prioritizing self-care, which differs from practicing recovery.”
We’re fortunate to have Jasmine and other REAL LIFE graduates in leadership roles, using their lived experiences to guide fellow Lifers.
We’re thankful to NARR for hosting this event and can’t wait to apply everything we’ve learned!
