REAL LIFE Grand Re-Opening of East Community Center

REAL LIFE is proud to announce the grand opening of our expanded REAL LIFE East Community Center in Church Hill! This expansion is a game-changer for individuals in recovery and those battling substance use disorder. Thanks to the incredible support of the Anthem Foundation, we are able to expand our services, deepen our impact, and increase our ability to serve those in our 11 recovery houses.

“We were very excited to celebrate this expansion with REAL LIFE as they provide greater opportunities for those looking for positive change,” says Monica Schmude, President of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia.

This expansion represents hope, healing, and opportunity for those working to overcome substance use and rebuild their lives. This new space enables REAL LIFE to provide more employment support, skills training, and safe, engaging social activities, which are all important for living a fruitful, substance free life.

We are so grateful to everyone who made this possible and joined us for the big day. We can’t wait to see the lasting impact this expansion will have!
