REAL LIFE Book Club Featuring Jerome Kersey

REAL LIFE recently received a generous donation from Longwood alumni. Numerous copies of the book Jerome Kersey: Overcoming the Odds were donated to REAL LIFE, along with other local facilities such as libraries and nonprofit organizations.

The life and professional basketball career od Jerome Kersey, a proud Longwood University alum, inspired fellow alumni to come together and make this book accessible to those who can benefit from the motivation and inspiration Jerome’s story provides.

REAL LIFE staff read and discussed this book with male Lifers, which included topics such as the importance of goal setting, dealing with challenges, the value of good character, and making the most of your opportunities.

We are proud of our male Lifers for expanding their minds with this book study, and we are so grateful to the Longwood alumni for providing us with this unique opportunity to enrich the lives of our Lifers.
