Meet Us Monday: Marco’s Pizza RVA

Marco’s is known for serving delicious pizza, but their locally owned Richmond stores are just as committed to serving the community. Through fundraising, volunteer projects, donations, and partnerships with schools and nonprofits, they believe in showing up for their neighbors.

Katie, Marco’s Director of Community Partnerships, shared, “Community is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t just want to be the place where people order pizza on Friday night. We want to be a business that shows up when our neighbors need us.”

That commitment is one of the reasons they chose to partner with REAL LIFE. As Katie puts it, “REAL LIFE isn’t just meeting immediate needs. It’s helping people rebuild, find hope, and create lasting change. That’s exactly the kind of work we want to stand behind.”

One of their favorite memories is our annual golf tournament, where Chef Marco delivered fresh pizza around the course from a golf cart. It’s moments like those that make this partnership so much fun.

Their advice to other businesses? “Don’t overthink it. Just start. You don’t have to solve every problem to make a difference.”
