The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond presented to our Lifers this week about being leaders, creating positive mindsets, interviewing etiquette, and succeeding in job interviews. The presentation covered not only how to nail interviews but also how to “turn failures into lessons.”
Lifer’s and The Federal Reserve team had a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other. The Fed Team pointed out how much they learned from Lifers. Their eyes were specifically opened with how much our group has overcome by taking creative approaches and thinking outside the box due to their criminal history.
Applying for new jobs can be scary and, at times, discouraging, but with the support of REAL LIFE staff and our guest presenters, it can also be a time of growth and improvement. With these new tips and tricks in mind, we are excited to witness the hard work of our Lifers pay off as their new careers blossom.
