Family Sunday: Lauren

This week, in our family reunification stories, we are excited to highlight Lauren, who is enjoying a renewed relationship with her daughter. Lauren joined our program in the fall and has made incredible strides in rebuilding her relationship with her daughter while focusing on her recovery.

She shares, “My relationship with my daughter has greatly improved. I went from being a revolving door parent or completely absent to a mother she calls when she needs advice or just wants to talk about her day.”

Lauren had the joy of spending Christmas with her daughter and even got the chance to chaperone her school field trip to the science museum—special moments that have deepened their connection. Lauren is excited for the future and looks forward to watching her daughter grow into the amazing woman she’s becoming!
