Our Lifers and staff had such a great time last night celebrating National Recovery Month at The Mount Carmel Baptist Church – Richmond, Virginia!
The evening kicked off with a friendly house trivia competition featuring questions about REAL LIFE staff, recovery knowledge, and even recovery in pop culture.
How would you have done in the competition?
One of the true or false questions: “REAL LIFE staff in recovery have a combined total of 35,000 days in recovery.”
The correct answer is FALSE! REAL LIFE staff in recovery have a combined total of 44,743 days in recovery!
The variety of questions kept everyone engaged and cheering on their teams. After a nail-biter tie-breaker question about Education Navigator Kristina’s beloved Philadelphia Eagles, House D claimed the win.
Following the competition, we enjoyed music, a delicious dinner, and plenty of fellowship and conversation.
“The clergy and members of the church were so welcoming, and the food was so clearly made with love,” shared Christine, REAL LIFE Administrative Coordinator. “It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with each other in a warm and relaxing atmosphere.”
