One of our ladies’ houses celebrated Taco Tuesday with dinner together because nothing brings people together like tacos and good company!
House L held a group discussion focused on the theme of acceptance, drawing from the wisdom of the AA Big Book. These kinds of conversations help strengthen each person’s journey in recovery.
House D took a trip to the War Memorial in Byrd Park and Belle Isle, despite the rain!
Peer House Leader Christian says, “It was a very interesting time enjoying nature and also walking around such historic, meaningful places. We all took time to reflect and talk about how we today are affected by so much that coincidentally happened on the very land we were standing on.”
