Rachel Wyatt

Recovery Navigator

Rachel is a REAL LIFE graduate and now serves on staff as a part-time Recovery Navigator. She first connected with REAL LIFE through the W.A.I.T.T. (We Are In This Together) program at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail and successfully graduated from the program. Since then, she has built a stable home with her fiancé, mother, and teenage daughter, and in July 2024 reached the milestone of gaining full custody of her daughter.

Rachel is currently working toward becoming a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and plans to continue her education to become a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Now on staff, she has come full circle and is preparing to assist with the same W.A.I.T.T. program where her journey began, while also helping lead classes, conduct house inspections, interview potential participants, and support job readiness through résumé building and application follow-up.
