Amanda Lynch Amanda Lynch serves on the REAL LIFE Board of Directors and brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role. She is an author, educator, and the Director of Healing-Centered Engagement at Rethinking Resiliency, where she focuses on trauma-informed, healing-centered practices for children, families, and educators. After 16 years in public education, including work as a special education teacher, Amanda founded Rethinking Resiliency and created The Mindfulness Room to provide practical tools for those supporting children impacted by trauma. Her advocacy is shaped by personal loss, including being widowed due to community violence in 2022. In addition to serving as Director of Healing-Centered Engagement at Rethinking Resiliency, she currently works as the Trauma-Informed Care Specialist with the Crater Health District (VDH), where she also convenes the Southside Trauma Informed Community Network. As a mother of four, Amanda’s values closely align with REAL LIFE and Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free), and she is honored to support this work through her service on the Board.
