Meet Us Monday: Maurice, Four Facts and a Fib Edition

Happy chilly Meet Us Monday! Today we’re excited to spotlight Maurice, our Violence Prevention Program Coordinator. A long standing staff member and a REAL LIFE graduate, Maurice has been at the heart of Project SAF (Safe, Alive, and Free) since day one.

Think you know him well? See if you can spot the fib:

(1) He is the author of a children’s book titled The 12 Step Ladder.

(2) He loves hiking and has completed part of the Appalachian Trail.

(3) He was born in Germany.

(4) His dog, a Pocket Bully, has earned 19 first-place wins in dog shows.

(5) He is a father of five.

Maurice has lived a full and interesting life, but one of these doesn’t quite fit. Did you guess it? He is not a hiker! He has, in fact, never been on the Appalachian Trail.
